Italian Sweet Sausages with Green Peppers, Onions and Pasta

Looking for a comfort dish that is big on flavor and easy to prepare? Sausages, peppers and pasta (or hard roll), YUM!
Ingredients:
4 TBLS. extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
Medium green pepper, rough chopped (approx 1” pieces)
Medium red or yellow onion, rough chopped (approx 1” pieces)
6 Italian sweet sausages
24 oz. tomato pasta sauce
3 cups of preferred dry pasta (penne, rotini, ziti, etc.)
1 tsp. sea salt

Steps:
Warm large skillet over medium heat with 2 TBLS. of EVOO
Cook green peppers, onions and Chipotle Cayenne blend until soft, approx. 5 minutes
Use fork to pierce sausages on both sides spaced approx. 1 inch apart. Place sausages on covered plate in microwave on high between 8 to 10 minutes. Once complete, slice sausages into bite size rounds
Add sliced sausages and pasta sauce to spiced cooked veggies. Cover skillet and cook over low heat for 20 minutes
Place water into large sauce pot (based on pasta selection), sea salt, 1 TBL. EVOO and bring to a boil
Add pasta and cook until al dente. Thoroughly drain pasta and return to large sauce pot. Toss with 1 TBL of EVOO
To serve, place pasta in an individual bowl and cover with sausage, pepper and onion sauce
